When is you back pain bad enough to seek treatment?
When should you seek treatment for back pain? We often see people hobbling in to our clinics in significant pain. They frequently tell us that it has become so bad that they have taken time off work. Even then it may be a few weeks before finally booking an appointment.
This survey was devised by Keele University, and has consistently shown reductions in GP appointments and unnecessary hospital referrals for those with a low score.
Those back pain sufferers with higher scores have been able to access therapy services sooner, reducing work absence as a result.
See where you score, it takes about 1 minute to complete the 9 questions.
